Auburn, Ala. - On May 17, 2024, Auburn Police, arrested Clayton Christopher Golson, age 24, from Auburn, AL, on warrants charging him burglary second degree and theft of property third degree.

The arrest stems from Auburn Police receiving a call reporting a residential burglary in progress located in the 500 block of Harper Avenue. Responding officers met with a victim who reported that a suspect unlawfully entered a residence and stole property.

Police contacted the suspect, Clayton Christopher Golson, in the area a short time after the crime occurred. After further investigation, Golson was arrested for charges associated with the burglary and theft.

Golson was transported to the Lee County Jail and held on a $6,500 bond.

All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
